Every now and then, after a dance‑out, something arrives in our inbox that reminds us why we do what we do. Following our recent afternoon in Turvey, we received a kind message along with a wonderful photo taken during the day. It’s always a pleasure to meet people who stop for a chat, share a smile, or capture a moment of Morris in motion, and their note brought those memories straight back.
The afternoon itself was full of that relaxed village atmosphere that makes dancing such a joy. Turvey gave us a warm welcome, and it’s clear the feeling was mutual. Knowing that our music, sticks, and bells added something memorable to someone’s day is exactly the encouragement that keeps us out on the road.
We’re grateful to Paul and Karine for taking the time to write, and even more grateful for the photo: a snapshot of a bright afternoon shared with good company. Moments like these are part of the story of Red Cuthbert, and we’re always glad when others choose to be part of it.
Below is the message they sent, along with their photo from the day.
Dear all at Red Cuthbert Morris,
We thank you very much for a great afternoon in turvey, we enjoyed your entertainment and company, and have found memories of it all.
We are glad we were there to take memorable pictures and we wish you great things in the future.
Kind regards,
Paul and Karine
