To celebrate the August bank holiday, we set off on a spirited village tour through the quieter corners of Bedfordshire—bringing music, movement, and a touch of tradition to each stop along the way.
We began the morning in Great Denham, dancing outside the Archers’ Rest where early risers and brunch-goers paused to enjoy the spectacle. From there, we made our way to Bromham, performing at The Swan with the pub’s garden offering a perfect stage and a few curious onlookers joining in with claps and smiles.
After a short break, we headed north to Lavendon, where the Horseshoe welcomed us. The village charm and warm reception made it a highlight of the afternoon. Next came Carlton, dancing at The Fox where the crowd was lively and the rhythm infectious.
At 15:00, we shifted gears for a performance at Milton Ernest Hall Care Home, sharing our dances with the residents was a great experience. We wrapped up the day just down the road at The Queen’s Head in Milton Ernest, where we ended on a high note with one last burst of energy and applause.
From pub gardens to care homes, each stop offered its own kind of magic. It was a day of celebration and community – proof that a few bells and sticks can still bring people together.
